Up For Adoption: Lena
This precious girl was literally saved at the 11th hour
by a compassionate friend in Baton Rouge. Toni
cannot take on a canine friend at this time, as her
feline ones are about to mutiny. The dog is currently
in Baton Rouge, but we can transport her anywhere
to a loving forever or foster home.
Here's the scoop on Lena:
1. She was rescued from a shelter in Many. Had it not been for Toni, she would be gone now.
2. She was obviously someone's pet, as she knows basic commands such as sit, fetch, etc.
3. She is house-broken; she uses the doggie door to come and go to do her business.
4. She is mostly Lab, and loves the water.
5. She is very calm, not hyper. She loves to be right by your side. She doesn't jump on people.
6. She does fine around cats.
7. Toni is getting her spayed and thankfully, she is heartworm-free.
8. She does not respond to this name, so can be given a new one.

The wonderful Longs of BARK have agreed to take her to Canada in June, if we cannot get her placed in Baton Rouge or Cenla.
Thanks for checking out another animal in need, and for helping spread the word about her!!
